assets/jsbsim_wasm-*.wasm) only when ?fdm=jsbsim is used. That file can be replaced with your own build of JSBSim. The JSBSim source is at the link above, and the exact build scripts are in the package below.
- @0x62/jsbsim-wasm 1.2.4-beta.4 (https://github.com/0x62/jsbsim-wasm), © Benedict Lewis, MIT. It is the Emscripten build of JSBSim and its TypeScript SDK.
- The aircraft, engine and propeller files JSBSim flies (
jsbsim/) were written for OpenAero DFW from the Cessna 172S POH, Roskam's Airplane Flight Dynamics (Part I, App. B), the Lycoming type certificate data and NACA TR-640. They are MIT, like the rest of the repository, and are not derived from the GPL aircraft that ship with JSBSim.
Aircraft models
- Twin-jet (
models/twinjet-v1.glb, drawn for the 737-800): "jet airplane" by weirdybeardyman, https://opengameart.org/content/jet-airplane, CC0 1.0 (public domain dedication). Changes: gear-down variant only; its external livery textures (not included in the source file) dropped for plain paint; objects renamed; scaled to the 737-800's 39.5 m length (its span is then 30.8 m; the real jet's is 35.8 m) and seated on the flight model's gear; meshopt-compressed (scripts/models/blend-to-glb.py, scripts/build-models.mjs). A generic airliner shape, not a Boeing replica, and no airline livery.
- Loaded with three.js's
GLTFLoader and the meshoptimizer decoder (© Arseny Kapoulkine, MIT), bundled with the game.
