# COLD GAS

> COLD GAS is a free, minimal 3D stunt game that runs in a web browser. You drive a roadster up a ramp, fire ten cold-gas thrusters to clear a row of parked EVs, roll it 360° in the air, retro-burn and land on the mark. A deterministic scorer sets the numbers and a three-judge AI panel writes the commentary; the server verifies each run by replaying its input log before it reaches the leaderboard. It runs on a deterministic 6-DOF physics simulation at 240 Hz and supports keyboard, gamepad and touch. It is an independent fan game, not affiliated with any automaker, made by Mutaaf Aziz and maintained by AI agents behind CI gates.

## What it does

- Deterministic 6-DOF physics at 240 Hz with ten individually modelled cold-gas thrusters
- Three flight tiers: Assist, Pro and Advanced (all ten valves by hand)
- A three-judge AI panel; scores come from a deterministic scorer, the AI writes words only
- Leaderboard runs verified on the server by replaying the input log
- Several courses, including the Wall and the Lineup, with today's and all-time boards
- Free Drive on real mountain and coastal roads, an endless seeded road, and a Sandbox for building ramps
- Optional bring-your-own AI key (Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI or Gemini) for the judges
- No accounts and no personal data; leaderboard names are three-letter initials

## FAQ

### Is COLD GAS free?

Yes. It is free to play in a web browser with no account.

### Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Touch, keyboard and gamepad are all supported, and it can be installed to the home screen.

### How are jumps scored?

A deterministic scorer in the game sets every number, and three AI judges write the commentary. For the leaderboard, the server replays the run's input log and scores it again before accepting it.

### Which AI writes the judges' lines?

By default an open model on Cloudflare Workers AI. You can connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI or Gemini key; it stays in your browser and is sent only for the call it is used for, never stored.

### Does it collect data or show ads?

There are no accounts and no personal data; leaderboard entries use three-letter initials. Ads may appear on the title screen and between results, and a rewarded ad that asks the panel again is opt-in. No ads show during a run.

### Is it affiliated with a car company?

No. It is an independent fan game, and every vehicle and object in it is an original design with no brand names or logos.

### How do I play COLD GAS?

Open mutaafaziz.com/coldgas/ in a web browser and drive the roadster up the ramp. Fire the cold-gas thrusters to clear the row of parked EVs, roll it 360° in the air, retro-burn and land on the mark. The Assist, Pro and Advanced tiers set how much of the thruster work you do by hand; on Advanced you fire all ten valves yourself.

### Do I need an account to play COLD GAS?

No. There are no accounts and no personal data. Leaderboard entries use three-letter initials.

### Can I just drive, without the jump?

Yes. Free Drive runs on real mountain and coastal roads (Stelvio, Transfagarasan, Big Sur and Atlantic), and there is also an endless seeded road and a Sandbox for building ramps and side quests.
